Angela Ruggiero
Angela Ruggiero is a four-time Olympic medalist and a member of the world’s ranking women’s hockey team. She is a USA Hockey Gold Medal team champion as well as an NCAA Women’s Hockey national champion.
She was voted Top-Defenseman in the 2002 and 2006 Olympics. As a special honor at the 2002 winter games, Angela was one of eight US Olympians chosen to carry the World Trade Center flag. She is a USA Hockey Gold Medal team champion as well as an NCAA Women’s Hockey national champion.
More recently, Angela is the founder of the Angela Ruggiero Hockey School, is a motivational speaker, and has written an autobiography.
She serves on the Board of Directors for both the US Olympic Committee and the Women’s Sports Foundation.
Angela received her B.A. in Government from Harvard University in 2004 and is currently earning a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
